Built around the tension between tangy raspberry, luxurious rose, warm spices and smoky leather, Paramour balances sensual darkness with an almost confectionary sweetness. The result is rich and provocative, yet surprisingly smooth and wearable.
The opening immediately introduces raspberry, saffron, grapefruit and bergamot. Raspberry provides a tart, candy-like sweetness while grapefruit and bergamot inject enough citrus brightness to keep the fruit from becoming syrupy. Saffron begins darkening the composition almost immediately, adding its distinctive warm, slightly leathery spice.
At the heart, rose, jasmine, cinnamon and lily create a lush floral bouquet. Rose takes center stage with a velvety richness that pairs naturally with raspberry, while jasmine and lily provide softer floral dimension.
