Flåm by Memo Paris is a luminous floral woody fragrance inspired by the dramatic Norwegian village of Flåm, where deep fjords, towering mountains and dense forests meet beneath the cool Nordic sky. Released in 2021 and created by perfumer Aliénor Massenet, Flåm contrasts sparkling citrus and aromatic herbs with creamy white florals, soft woods and a warm, subtly sweet base.
The opening is crisp and invigorating, led by bergamot and bitter orange. The citrus has a bright, slightly bitter quality rather than a sugary juiciness, immediately giving Flåm a clean, windswept freshness. Aromatic herbal nuances add a green edge, evoking cool mountain air moving through vegetation along the fjord.
The heart becomes considerably softer and more floral. Jasmine sambac brings a rich white-floral character, while aromatic and herbal facets maintain the fragrance’s sense of freshness.
