Nardo by Gissah is a bright, modern oriental woody fragrance for men, released in 2025 as part of Gissah’s Graphite collection. Built around sparkling citrus, fiery ginger and pink pepper before settling into patchouli and amberwood, Nardo has a noticeably fresher personality than many of Gissah’s darker creations. It is crisp and energetic up top, spicy through the center and increasingly woody as it dries down.
The opening combines ginger and mandarin. Mandarin provides juicy citrus sweetness while ginger adds an immediate sharp, almost sparkling heat. Together they create an energetic opening that feels clean and vibrant, with the ginger preventing the mandarin from becoming overly sweet.
At the heart, lemon and pink pepper continue the freshness while turning up the spice. Lemon introduces a tart, bright citrus quality, while pink pepper adds a softer rosy spice and subtle warmth. This keeps Nardo remarkably lively through the middle rather than immediately transitioning into heavier woods.
