Plato by Gissah is an introspective ambery woody fragrance for women and men, released in 2024. Part of Gissah’s Atlantis collection, Plato combines bright mandarin and dry cedarwood with warm spices, powdery iris and a smoky incense-vetiver base. The composition feels deliberately restrained and contemplative—less about sweetness and more about woods, spice, earth and smoke.
The opening combines mandarin, cedarwood and pimento. Mandarin provides an immediate flash of citrus brightness, but cedarwood quickly gives the fragrance a dry, structured backbone. Pimento adds a warm, peppery bite, creating an opening that feels energetic without sacrificing Plato’s darker woody personality.
At the heart, nutmeg and iris soften the composition. Nutmeg continues the warm-spicy character of the opening while iris introduces a smooth, powdery elegance.
