Lost City by Gissah is a mysterious woody fruity fragrance for women and men, released in 2024. Part of Gissah’s Atlantis collection, it pairs the unusual apricot-like floral character of osmanthus with powdery orris, caramelized leather and smoky woods. The result feels simultaneously elegant, gourmand and ancient—soft around the edges but considerably darker underneath.
The opening combines osmanthus and orris. Osmanthus brings a distinctive fruity-floral character reminiscent of apricot and suede, while orris adds a cool, powdery elegance. Together they create an opening that feels refined and slightly mysterious rather than conventionally fresh.
At the heart, leather and caramel dramatically deepen the composition. Leather introduces a dark, tactile richness while caramel wraps around it with warm, toasted sweetness.
