Maximus by Gissah is a refined woody spicy fragrance for women and men, released in 2025. Built around sparkling citrus, aromatic Sencha tea and Malabar pepper before settling into cedarwood and sandalwood, Maximus has a distinctly fresh, structured character—bright and energetic at the opening, increasingly dry and woody as it develops.
The opening combines bergamot and lemon. Bergamot brings a slightly aromatic citrus brightness while lemon adds a sharper, cleaner acidity. Together they create a crisp opening that feels immediately refreshing without relying on excessive sweetness.
At the heart, Malabar pepper, rose and Sencha tea give Maximus its distinctive personality. Pepper introduces a dry spicy kick, while Sencha tea contributes a leafy, slightly bitter green character. Rose provides an elegant floral counterpoint, softening the spice and tea without turning the fragrance overtly floral.
