Martinique Osmanthus by Gissah is a lush ambery fruity floral fragrance for women and men, relaunched in 2025 with a brighter, fruitier interpretation of the Martinique Osmanthus name. The composition centers on ripe peach and sparkling bergamot before moving into osmanthus, jasmine and caramel, then settling into a soft, powdery base of orris, patchouli and musk.
The opening combines peach and bergamot. Peach immediately provides a ripe, velvety fruitiness—juicy rather than syrupy—while bergamot adds enough tart citrus brightness to keep the opening buoyant. It creates an inviting tropical-fruity introduction without immediately revealing the richer gourmand character underneath.
At the heart, osmanthus, jasmine and caramel become the focus. Osmanthus naturally bridges fruit and flowers with its distinctive apricot-like, softly leathery character, while jasmine contributes luminous white-floral richness.
