Amouage Line 618 is a woody, leathery incense fragrance from The Essences Collection, released in 2026 and created by master perfumer Nathalie Lorson. Built around the idea of an infinite horizon and the proportions of the Golden Ratio, Line 618 balances smoky Omani incense, vivid fruit, creamy lactonic notes and substantial woods in a composition that feels simultaneously modern and unmistakably Amouage. 

The opening is immediately distinctive. Hojari frankincense releases its cool, mineral-like smoke alongside the sharp sparkle of black pepper, while an unexpectedly juicy trio of pineapple, peach and plum pushes through the incense. The fruit isn’t presented as tropical candy; instead, it provides brightness and sweetness against the darker resinous structure, giving the opening an almost glowing quality.

As the fragrance settles, coconut milk emerges and completely changes the texture. Creamy and lactonic, it softens the incense while heliotrope introduces a powdery, almond-like floral sweetness. Pine cuts through that creaminess with a cool green aromatic edge, creating a fascinating contrast between something warm and comforting and something that feels like open air rushing through an evergreen forest. 

The base becomes considerably darker and more substantial. Sandalwood provides creamy warmth, guaiac wood contributes a subtly smoky character, and patchouli adds earthy depth. A smooth leather accord runs underneath everything, gradually transforming the fruity, milky opening into something dry, woody and sophisticated. Even deep into the drydown, traces of incense and coconut-like creaminess remain woven through the woods.

Line 618 feels like traveling across an endless desert road at twilight—the last glow of the sun disappearing beyond the dunes while Hojari frankincense rises through the cool evening air. Pineapple, peach and plum provide flashes of brightness before creamy coconut milk and heliotrope soften the landscape, eventually disappearing into sandalwood, smoky guaiac wood and worn leather. It is luminous and shadowy at once, seemingly moving forward without ever reaching an end.

Line 618 undergoes Amouage’s extended Essences ageing process, including an oakwood-barrel infusion of the bio-ethanol, infusion of the fragrance concentrate with sandalwood chips, and subsequent maceration.
